Subject:Recording with USB ASIO device

I am trying to record with a Line 6 PODxt via USB. It acts as an ASIO device. I am able to select the device in the preferences.
However, when I try to record I receive the following error: “An error occurred, recording is not enabled for this device”, also, the track does not seem to be receiving any signal.
I was able to record with the PODxt via USB on a pc running XP with Acid Pro 4.0
I am also able to record with the PODxt and CubaseLE on my current system, so I know the PODxt is working in Vista.
Hopefully I am missing something stupid.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wasn't going to answer this because I have no experience with this device or Vista but I see no one has answered yet so I just thought I would remind you that ACID doesn't support Vista yet. It may just be a Vista incompatibility that you can't do anything about right now. Good Luck,

thanks for the reply.

yeah, vista is chalk full of these little bugs.

bbut apparently Acid Studio 7.0 does support vista.

If I don't fuigure it out in a week or so i will put in a ticket
