in the 32bit float modus creat 2 tracks, just draw any noise texture to each, give the upper one the plugin cookie cutter, lets say circle, and after it the plugin bump map, say lower-left spotlight.
Bump map seems to clear the alpha channel, so that whole event becomes completely transparent. This is only in 32-bit mode, not 8-bit. (Last time I tested it anyways. Can't remember which of the two 32-bit modes it was.... whether its 1.000 or 2.222 compositing gamma.)
definitely this is strange, however by adding yet one cookie cutter at the end of the chain with the same parameters as the first one you can eliminate this effect
