pc upgrade because of glitching -ACID Product Family

I realize acid is not a multitrack, but it glitches when I play more than 4 or 5 tracks back. I have a 166 mhz with 96 mb ram and am now considering upgrading to 450 and 128 but don't know if this will help. Then my other question is. How can I import the files (as a song) I have in Acid into Cubase VST so that each of them are on their own tracks and in sync instead of having it all on one track? Thanx Almari

However, as soon as you start recording full tracks of material, you are better off moving to a dedicated program such as Vegas. You will need to export the individual tracks and import them into Cubase and line them up. It shouldn't be too hard since the acid loops start on measure boundaries unless you've moved them or have volume envelopes defined. I would do envelope processing in the multi-track software.
