Hi, i'm in a hiphop group, and we're starting to get into the computer production use to make beats. Is ACID a good product? is it ideal for hiphop usage? im also into ambient/drum and bass stuff...i want an impressive program..this sounds great, but i'd like some feedback from people who already have it. thanks! kree |

Well, I'm probably a little bit partisan, but if you haven't had a chance to use it to see what it does, you'll want to. If you've been using a sequencer and tweaking your samples so that they'll all match tempo/pitch, ACID will make you smile instantly, because it does all that automatically. ACID works great for techno/hip/trip music or anything that you'd want to have repeat with LFO's, etc. It also can be used to compose almost any other kind of music, even country. Not classical(since it doesn't loop much). Lots of good loop libraries too! -Joel Chris H. wrote: >>Hi, i'm in a hiphop group, and we're starting to get into >>the computer production use to make beats.
