Subject:default file folder

First off I tired the search feature of this forum and it appears to not be working at all.

Question:
I want to change the default folder where files are located and saved when using Open or Save As. i have looked throughout preferences and cannot find this option. Where is it located?

I'll happily be corrected - but I'm not entirely sure you can "default" the open/save destinations.

As I'm sure you're aware they use the last used directories.

As a potential work around - you can make yourself a shortcut in explorer to a directory you want to use often, and save this shortcut in your "my documents", then it's a simple double click to navigate to said directory.

My fav method is simple drag&drog from explorer into SF, but that's me..
