Subject:please help!!

Acid used to give me a error message; unsupported media type, so I
took the advice of someone elses
post and changed my output rates to 41kHz at 16 bit, it no longer gave
that messages. Problem is:
now
it will play a track for a second, then sound cuts out, if I try to
stop it or add anything I get a general
protection fault and windows closes the program. Please help!!! I've
Unistalled and reinstalled, same
shite.
