Subject:Expiration notice with 1.0D Acid Pro upgrade

After I registered my Acid Pro purchase I received a email notice of
a
'free' upgrade to 1.0d. Although it had some interesting new
features I
was really interested in the fix to a reported bug by this forum.
After providing my serial number the upgrade downloaded and
installed,
but I received a notification that the release would expire on 6/13.
Is this expiration applicable? Please advise.

Hi Sean,
I can probably help you with this.
Sonic Foundry occasionally releases its beta versions of updates to
the
public, although I'm not certain what the criteria are for this.
Sometimes
they simply wait and release the update in its final form.
Perhaps there's a fix in 1.0d that's considered critical enough to
warrant
the public release of the update beta.
Regardless of the reason, generally Sonic Foundry will have the final
non-timed version of the update ready before the beta expires. If
you
choose to install the beta 1.0d upgrade, you'll just need to check
back for
the final version so you can work uninterrupted.

FYI, I got a e-mail response back stating that the pre-beta will
expire,
however, there will be another version available at that time (no
upgrade
charge). Unfortunately, The new version will require a reload, but
it was
necessary due to the timing with Microsoft's official release
schedule.
