Subject:Why different view shortcuts in SF, ACID & CD ARCHITECT ?

Tell me why different view shortcuts are used in SOUNDFORGE, ACID &
CD
ARCHITECT.
The Ctrl + left mouse button is incredibly useful in SoundForge.
Maybe different teams developped these 3 softwares, but I think there
could
be great for everybody to find the same philosophy in the 3
softwares.
I took only this example, but there are lots of things to do in this
way.
