Subject:Fading volume in ACID loops or disk based tracks

the program is great but the help file isn't...how do you fade the
volume during the track?

Draw out your event. Right-click on it, and choose
Envelope-->Volume (or if you're lazy, you can just select
the track and hit the letter V on your keyboard). Then
double-click on the blue line and move the blue boxes
around to change the volume.

This feature is only available with ACID Music and ACID
Pro. ACID Style doesn't do envelopes.
