My AWE64 is giving me the same out-of-sync problems that the other AWE64 guys are talking about. I have an older P200 (no MMX) w/ 64 megs of ram and I'm running ACID pro. Will upgrading to a SB Live! card get rid of this sync problem? I love working with ACID but this stuttering has to go! (I'm not against putting $500 into a dedicated audio card like the LynxONE if that will cure this.) Any suggestions? |

BOB, I use a Soundblaster PCI 128 card on a 450 MHZ PII PC with 128 MB ram and still get glitches sometimes. I think its the video card stealing the CPU's attention (I use a STB 4400 "TNT" card). I wish there was a small program that could set the priorty of the cpu to make audio the first consideration. I also use a Yamaha DSP factory card and really don't use it because its too frusterating. The SB live would probably be ok to use I have heard it uses two IRQ's. It has digital I\O though and seems cool. Bob Shamansky wrote: >>My AWE64 is giving me the same out-of-sync problems that the other >>AWE64 >>guys are talking about.
