General Question...

When recording a direct track into ACID, how do any of you
go about coosing NOT to accept/keep the take that you just
recorded. I find that after you make the recording and
press STOP, it saves it for you no matter what. And to go
on to try another take is not user friendly, because you
need to then rename the destination wave so that it
overwrite's the original recording. Sure would be easier
if ACID gave you the chance to choose wheter or not you
wanted to keep the reocording, or try again.

Any Comments?

If you close the dialog box instead of pressing stop, the track will
not be
saved.

I actually wish there was an "are you sure" dialog attached to that
action,
as I have brain-farted and lost takes as a result.

If you hit cancel instead of stop, the file will not be
saved.
