Hello,

Can someone give me a bit of help w/ syncing acid to cubase? I have
set everything up as per
the online help. but Acid is not able to find the midi time code. I
have used the same setup w/
rebirth and that has worked just dandy. I am using Cubase AudioXT w/
an external midi-box.

Could you describe the way you have the system configured?

Are the MTC formats set correctly?
What does the ACID clock for MTC input say? It should display
"Listening
...." when it is ready and then switch to the input time when locked.

I have had no problems syncing Cubase VST with Acid, as long as Acid
is the master. I don't use an
external midi box but a virtual midi router called Midi Yoke (you can
download the program for free from
the internet--I don't remember the URL but I found it with
Altavista). Set up Acid to generate MTC or
Midi Clock on one of the Midi Yoke ports, and Cubase to listen for the
sync on that same port. Works
like a charm.
