Hello, I've been using ACID for some time. And believe me it's more than just a loop tool, it's a great sequencer too... Nice & Easy to use. Anyhow... I've noticed that on some of the later tracks that I've been making I recieve a bit of a flange on tracks. Mostly Recordings that I've done through ACID, sometimes loops. At first I thought it was my sound card, but then after recording things in other programs and not recieving this I'm assuming it's ACID. I have an AWE64 Is this a typical situation.. I've tried reinstalling... Now, Problem Number 2... this one is probaly the most urgent. I have an embedded audio acid file (a project i'm working on) and one of the loops when specifying the volume envelope doesen't work. It always comes in at full volume and there is nothing I can do about it. It's only this particular loop, no other one in the project behaves like that. The loops starts out 0db at least it's supposed to then moves about 3db. The main volume slider is on 0, and when moved down it still has no effect. Once again, this only happens on this particular track. I've tried putting another loop in and deleting; still no avail. I've also realized that their are some recorded tracks I have that are doing the same thing. This is very frusturating does it have anything to do with the embedded audio? How can I fix it... I've tried saving as a wav and listening but it exports it without the envelope. Thanks in Advance -Brandon Russell |

Are your live tracks stretching? Have you altered the tempo after they've been recorded? See if the "stretch" option is checked in the properties pane for these tracks. If your tempo is the same as it was when they were recorded, try unchecking it to see if that solves the problem. AWE64 has less than optimal drivers, but I don't think that should affect audio-only applications like ACID. More problems are reported with MIDI/audio sync. -- Bruce A. Make sure to check each of your FW faders, too. This happened to me once, and it drove me nuts for over an hour. If any FX are enabled at all on the track, you'll hear the FX bus at a default of -6 dB. Hopefully, this'll cover it. Brandon Russell wrote: >>Hello, >> >>I've been using ACID for some time.
