Subject:Render As???

Why can't I Render my file? In the older versions when I completed my work on an audio file I did a render as saving to a new file name. This feature doesn't appear available in this version. What am I missing.

In SF you don't really use the render-as function, except if you save your work first as a Sound Forge Project File. This will create a directory containing all your original media and so forth. Then when you have made your changes, you are able to use the render as function.

If you simply edit a file, you simply use the save as (or just save to overwrite) function instead.

Thanks for your response, I later discovered the process button on another screen which does the actual process I was looking for to render the new file with the effects chain. Thanks for your assistance!
