I use acid pro 4, sound forge 6 and a zoom sb-246 drum machine.I tap out the drums for 8 bars(recording audio in Acid Pro). What's the best way to sequence the drums so that they loop continously for the entire song? How can I extend the drums to 16, 32 bars etc..(I dont want to cut and paste the drums)

ACID has three different types of files: Loops, One-Shots, and Beatmapped. The default for recording into ACID is Beatmapped. What you want to do is tell ACID that the wave you recorded is a Loop.

To do this:

1. Right-click the event on the time-line and select Clip Properties
2. In Clip Properties window change the ACID Type: to Loop
3. Press the Save File (Ctrl+S) icon (small diskette icon in the upper right of the window) to save this meta-data back to the wave.
4. Drag the end of the event out as far as you would like, 8, 16, 32-bars, and it will repeat.

Now whenever you add this wave to a project, ACID will know it's a loop and treat it appropriately.
