I can't seem to get Acid to recognize that there are 8 outputs on my soundcard. The mixer only shows stereo L/R. The sound card is correctly installed as other programs are able to use all 8 tracks. Any ideas? |

Only ACID pro can talk to multiple devices. Peter Bruce A. Richardson wrote in message ... >Which version of ACID? I think some do not address multi i/o. > >-- >Bruce A. I've now got all 8 outs in ACID Pro (installed recent driver version for sound card) but now I get digital distortion (crackling) if I route tracks onto more than just a single pair of outputs. Also, it tends to crash. Peter Haller wrote: >>Only ACID pro can talk to multiple devices. >> >>Peter >> >>Bruce A. Richardson wrote in message ... >>>Which version of ACID? Well, I'm glad they're compatible. I think I must just be having driver difficulties. I had an old Audiowerk8 driver which didn't recognize multiple I/Os. However, since installing the update, although I can access all 8 outs and use them, I get distortion when I route on more than one pair. Any idea what might cause this?
