Why is it , when I place a WAV file on the track editor and then press
play I dont hear anything (
BAR does not move ) When I press stop, ACID PRO crashes and closes
down. Has this got
something to do with WIN98 ?

It is a real pain, as I have lost most of my work. I have sent off
emails for support , but no
luck. Any ideas ??

I'll try to help you narrow it down.

What audio card(s) are you using?
Try loading in one of the sample/demo songs off the ACID CD-ROM. Does
the
same problem occur?

Something to try: Uninstall ACID and then reinstall.

Peter, I have the same problem, I'm using a CL SB Live! Value, I have
tried using demo songs, still
happens, I've also uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem.
Any help is appreciated.
