it would be so easy to use. But it was quite expensive
also, well the main thing is, I am looking for free loops?
anyone got any? It was expensive enought to buy the prgram
now the LOOPS? Some one please help me out!

Roll your own. Get out some synths, drums, and guitars, and let 'er
rip.
That way you have your own sound, not somebody else's!!

Also, keep in mind that you can build hundreds of completely new loops
by
editing the ones that come with the application disc.

ACID's a bargain. How would you consider it to be expensive? The
hardware
necessary to do what ACID does so painlessly would run you around
$15,000
for the bare essentials, probably up to twice that, and would be a
royal
pain in the ass.

There's no such thing as something for nothing.

Eventually there is promised a "loop exchange" at the Acid
Casualties site at:
http://msgeek.simplenet.com/acd/index.html

I suppose there must be other sites for Acid loops that I
am unaware of. You might want to do a search for wav files,
there's a WORLD of sound out there. It's pretty easy to
Acidize them yourself. You might however need editing
software to get the loops right. You could get Sound Forge
XP from the Products section of this site. There are
several shareware ones available too.

There are a lot of cool freeware/shareware soft synths and
drum machines out that can output to wav files. My favorite
is VAZ Modular. There are 3 different versions of this
software available, one of them is freeware. Check out
these sites for audio software:

Good Luck...
