Subject:When are we getting Acid2?

Hi,

the never ending wait seems to, er, never end. When is it
coming? Can sonicfoundry kindly tell us what to drool over
in anticipation?

wish list repeats and addins

VST plug in compatibility

Vertical mixer option ( can't get with that horizontal idea)

Some eq, or free FX if this is not going to be available.

An automatic sample divider and remixer a la Recylce. I can
do this myself I know...but it is never randomised and
hence no room for pleasant surprises.

multiple undo function

better choice of colours for the sample displays

mix to MP3 option would be divine, an option to work with
MP3 loops heaven sent.

anykind of groove qauntising from loop to loop would be
desirable too.

more free loops from sonicfoundry (I can hope)

Slainte,
Andrew.

So, instead you'd advocate wasting a bunch of space with a "virtual
mixer"
that has no functional advantage over the current scheme?

they wanted to sell a new product. They should have put all the new
features in an ACID update. I tried VEGAS and I like ACID much better.
VEGAS can't do what ACID does best.VEGAS' features need to be in ACID.

How about something similar to the history panel in Adobe Photoshop?

>>better choice of colours for the sample displays

How about default colors depending on what kind of sample it is?
(i.e. default color for a beat, and one for a melody type sample...
or default depending on what directory you retrieve it from.)
