Subject:I cant even install

Whats happening is: When I click 'install' from the Sonic Foundry
table of contents screen it
proceeds to the user agreement, I click yes and an error message box
says "Unable to install
software. Software is not being installed from the origional CD-ROM."
But it is the factory
CD-ROM. I also installed Sound Forge just after that so I know the CD
drive/my system can do
it. Where do I look for problems? Anybody?

If you had a copy of acid residing in your system at
anytime in the past; You might have to go into the registry
and remove any old ACID keys. That will allow you to
install it from the new cd. The installer is probably
finding another version (demo, hacked, etc...) on your
system.
