Subject:Midi notes don't play back after recording

Seems to me I saw this on the forum some time ago but I can't find it via search. Here it goes again: Using Atmosphere from Spectrasonics mostly on AP6d. I have a MACKIE 1620 with Firewire interface using the latest driver. I can record a simple MIDI passage and hear the synth as I play it. I stop the recording and can press a key and still hear the synth. But when I press playback I get no sound at all. Again I can press a key on the keyboard controller during play back and hear that synth note, but I don't hear the recorded MIDI note. To hear the recorded MIDI note, I have to close AP6 and restart it. Once open, I press play and I can hear the MIDI note. Sometimes, all I have to do is just turn the soft synth off then on again via the virtual on/off button. But that does not always work. Any clues? Anyone remember seeing this posted in the past? We have had reports of this behavior in the past, but have never been able to reproduce the problem. The next time it happens, stop playback, and edit one of the newly recorded notes. Hit play. Does it play back then? Peter |

Nice trick, tnx Peter. Try ReFX VSTi (Vanguad, Nexus), It doesn't happens ALL the time but it does. |
