When I edit a loop file sometimes the erase feature allows
me to erase a tiny portion at a time, sometimes it takes
out a whole chunk all at once.

I need it to erase just tiny portions at a time.

What's a man to do?

You need to change the unit you "snap to." If you have "snap
to" set to ruler, the eraser tool will erase large chunks.
If you have "snap to" set to 16th, 32nd or 64th notes, you
can take a tiny portion off at a time.

Hope this helps,

smaller note size such as 16ths or 32nds. You are probably
set on half or quarter notes. The control for this is on
the toolbar under options. Hope this is what you are
looking for.
