I'm considering purchasing one of these to do some specific tasks. Basically I have tracks with no drums which I want to add to. I need to sync the drum tempo to my existing track, will Music do this or do I need to get the Pro version ? Thanks in advance |

There is a comparison chart on this page: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp?PID=3&F eatureID=8 In my opinion I think you should get the PRO version... Just 'cause it's such a COOL program. Mark Castle wrote: >>I'm considering purchasing one of these to do some specific tasks. >>Basically I have tracks with no drums >>which I want to add to. I use the Acid Style (rock) version that I picked up at CompUSA for $30.00 to do precisely what you want to do. I use acid to load the drums, set the tempo and save it out to a wave file that I load into Cakewalk. Works like a champ. Acid Style doesn't have any bells and whistles but it does exactly what I need it to do. ACID Pro has the capacity to Generate MIDI Time Code, MIDI Clock, and to chase to MIDI Time Code. The lighter versions do not. ACID Music still has volume and pan envelopes, ACID Style(DJ, Rock) is a little more bare bones and only allows up to 8 tracks, but could still be used to record your drum track from the machine for further manipulation within the computer.
