Subject:Groove Pool for Midi tracks?

So I applied a groove from the pool to a MIDI track. It plays pretty well for a few measures, then starts dropping beats for a few measures, ie a snare or hat doesn't make it to the party.

The groove is the same length as my MIDI pattern. The Midi track is driving Battery 3. Only 2 tracks running so far. No other VSTi.

I haven't used much of the Groove tools because they sounded stiff or just plain out of the pocket when I tried them. Now it just plain doesn't seem to work. Advice?

Does a render sound the same as in real time in ACID?
