I would love to be able to start audio recording without having to touch the keyboard or the mouse. Specifically would like to be able to start the record function by pressing the sustain pedal on my keyboard, and stopping the same way. It is very distracting to have to take my hands off my insrument before I start to record. thx Dana Woodaman |

I have encountered this problem too. While the problem is easily fixed by getting a good producer. Of course this is not an option for all of us (as many of us prefer to just work alone). I have 'fixed' this by putting the computer keyboard on the floor. I can hit the record button with my mouse and then get into my instrument. When I am ready to record I tap the space bar with my foot, the space bar will also stop the recording. Hey.. Its something! mildred pierce popamericana.com bananadine.com dana woodaman wrote: >>I would love to be able to start audio recording without having to >>touch the keyboard or the >>mouse. Here's an idea: do you have a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick, or some other similar control device that you can assign keystrokes to? You can assign the necessary keystroke (the space bar, perhaps?) to a button on the joystick, and lay it on the floor. Instant controller pedal. -jOE Mildred Pierce wrote: >>I have encountered this problem too. While the problem is easily >>fixed by getting a good producer.
