Methinks someone has discovered that it does exist. And I've found it to be excellent.

Actually i have yet to hear from them (almost 48 hours later) - however, i will wait before i judge them , i hope you are right, as i like the Sony products i own, very much and have owned them since the old days (Sonic Foundry). in the past they were good, just seem a little slow these days - but it may be that other comp's are very fast and one get used to that, so...
cheers,
ges

Well, i am sorry to have to say this, but over 2 weeks with no forum response and 5 days of no email reply, i officially call this poor support.

i have lost countless hours of work and must write down all my VST FX and VSTi settings by hand because of Sony Acid (and Sound Forge) failing to hold my settings .

It appears I have waisted over 500.00 on these products in the past 6 months as i suppose i must now buy a new DAW and 2 Track Editor.

I am still waitng to hear from them.

Out of interest - what was the problem you were facing ?

Thanks Kenny,

In a summary, Sony Acid P6 (and Sound Forge9) will not retain random parameter (knobs on fx) and MIDI settings on VST FX and Instruments and ALSO will CHANGE the settings when i toggle between diff VST FX in FX chains- causing me to have to write down all this, which makes it useless.

For more detail, see 9-7-07 post, "Acid drops VST"

PS- i still havent heard from them after 10 days !!!

Thanks

GES

Picking on the toggle part...

If you add a VST fx, make some settings, then go to another fx, then return, the settings have all reset?

Does this occur when not playing (ie, timeline is stopped)?

Ken
