I have the A2 Live. It crashes after 30 seconds. Acid Pro 6 is not the only program where Amplitube crashes. Most people can't get it to run in Fruity Loops. |

I'm using both AmpliTube 2 and the new AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix in Acid Pro. Both of these plug-ins are quite heavy on resources, and the extra load is causing Acid to keel over. The way to fix it is to increase the number of audio buffers in your sound card settings. I use an M-Audio Firewire 410 and had to increase the buffers to 512 to get it stable. It's worth experimenting to find the best value. Obviously the higher number of buffers you use, the more latency you could get if you are recording guitar. The easiest way to get around that is to just record the guitar clean, and then add the plug-in afterwards. regards Paul K IK UK |
