Let's say I'm working on a Song and I've layed the beat down on track one. Then I lay one piano loop on a second track, How can I copy the placement of that loop to the rest of the track keeping it on beat and not having to line things up. Let's say I want to paste it 5 times in the track. Thanks |

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you're trying to do here, but I'll take a shot. By "placement of that loop", do you mean "placement of that event(a segment of the entire loop)"? If your piano loop sample is ACIDized, and you have Snap To enabled, you can just copy that segment, and then paste and drop, paste and drop, etc. at the beginning of the measures, or on the fourth beat of each measure, or wherever you're looking to do it. If you want to make it so that it's entirely automatic, thus being able to just draw things out regularly: draw out your event as part of a measure, and then solo that track, set the loop bar to just that measure, and save it out to a new track, either by using Save As... mixed .wav file, or Edit/Mix to New. Hope this sheds a little light on how to do what you want. Chris Cooper wrote: >>Let's say I'm working on a Song and I've layed the beat >>down on track one.
