Subject:Virtual Instrument's note sticks

In Acid Studio lets say I'm running about 10 sounds through a virtual Instrument. Sometimes one of the sound banks will hold one annoying note. I then have to click on acid and the virtual instrument to stop it. This only happens once in a while and note that I most of the time run 16 instruments with no problems. What is causing this?

Which Virtual Instruments are you using?

The more details on what you are doing the better.
