5.1 direct track/buss assignment?

Here's what I need to do: I have 6 channels of mixed audio in my Vegas timeline. I want to bus each channel to the appropriate 5.1 output and cut an AC3 file. I don't need to pan. Is there a way to do direct assignments or do I need to use the surround panners for each channel. And if the latter, I can't figure out how to get the Center channel to be 0 onstead of -6. Thanks!

Is this an Ambisonic file?
I have just been playing with Ambisinics so I just checked my project and hadn't realized the centre channel was -6, so I have just inserted a volume envelope in the centre channel and wound it up to +6.

Incidently the recommendation I have is that the LFE ambisonic channel (4th from the top) should be muted.
