I have Acid Pro 6.0d on Win XP SP2. I use an Edirol FA-101 Audio/Midi interface. I have a Roland TD-10 V-Drum kit. I want to back-up the TD-10's settings by doing a bulk dump to a Midi sequencer. Am I correct that Acid 6 does not allow for this type of bulk dump? Thanks. Kevin |

Technically, no. Doesn't the TD-10 have a software utility that allows you to do this by itself? Iacobus |

Thanks for the reply. The TD-10 has a utility to send a sysex dump of all (or part) of its configuration. All it does is send. It requires a sequencer to which it can dump. You need to set the sequencer to record and then start the dump from the TD-10. Then, to restore the configuration, you set the TD-10 to receive a bulk dump and then "play" the dump sequence from the sequencer. I have used Cakewalk Home Studio successfully but really want to excise (exorcise?) it from my system and use Acid Pro exclusively. The TD-10 does allow copying of Drumkits and Patterns to a memory card (Roland M-512E) but it has limited memory and functionality. Thanks. Kevin |

Thanks. I'll give midiox a try, although I would still like to be able to do it in Acid....perhaps AP7? Kevin |

I too was looking at doing a sysex midi dump. Guess it's back to cakewalk for that... |
