Hey everybody. I've had my Sony ACID Music Studio 6.0 for a year now and I'm just getting back into making some music. I'm having problems when I use my keyboard though. Can you help?

I have a Casio Wk-3000 ( I know...) but when I try to play the with tracks there is a delay from the time that I strike a note to when I hear it on my PC through the DLS Soft Synth.
Thanks

Please fill out your system specs in your user profile.

The most likely cause is you are not using ASIO drivers for your hardware. SInce we don't know what audio hardware you have, we will have to wait until you fill out your system specs to help out.

Just put the specs in the "Equipment Used" field?

Yes.

What type of audio hardware do you have?
What Driver Model are you using in ACID?
What is the buffer setting?

I am not seeing your specs. You have to expose them in your settings.

Post them to here as well.

Your AC97 audio hardware is the problem.

You could try lowering the buffer sizes on the Audio Prefs page in ACID. However, to achieve the low latency that is desireable, you will need to either locate ASIO drivers for your hardware or purchase audio hardware that provides ASIO drivers.

What's the age of the system? - ASIOFORALL may be a solution for getting the AC97 to respond in an ASIO method

Yup . ASIO4ALL driver for ac97 can give low latency and a virtual ASIO driver for acid to work with.
