Subject:Outputting NO metadata in batch scripts

Hello All! I've searched the forum pretty thoroughly, and I can't find a post about this so here we go. First I have no knowledge of scripting, so be gentle. When using the Batch Converter, I can't seem to get it to output files without saving the metadata. Even if it is not selected when saving individual files, it will still slap a metadata footer on the file when saving in batch converter. That didn't sound clear, let me try again... When I save individual files without saving metadata, it works with no problems and no footers. But, when I try and use the batch converter to do several files at once, it always saves the metadata. Support led me to this forum, in hopes that a scripting guru had an answer for me. This is really annoying, because I end up having to run the files through a different audio program to remove the metadata footers. I wouldn't care, but my audio files are used by finnicky software that doesn't like that metadata. Anyone got a clue? Much appreciated, Le_Singe |
