Open a sound file
Press play button
Move the rate-slider to max (20,00)
Meters freeze!

The meters are then frozen until you press play button again, or move the rate-slider to a negative value.

I don't have this problem. Tried repro - no glitches at all for me.

I've experimented further with this problem and it seems that the meters only freeze, when my ASIO buffer is 256 samples or more. When using a buffer with 128 or less samples the meters works perfectly.

Repro'd!

Just like you have described - once ASIO buffer >= 256. Then meter shows no level (as you mention - frozen).

Can't repro with MME/other driver settings - but certainly with ASIOFORALL at settings mentioned. Will try on my studio machine tomoz to see if I can duplicate this again.
