Problems burning Master

I have had no problems burning DVDs on DVDA, but I am trying to burn my first master and it is not working.

I write the master and save it to the hard disc. I assume the next thing I would do is to burn that file to a DVD but when I try to burn it I get the error message:
"The selected folder is not valid. A valid prepaired DVD folder must contain VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files.........."

When I check the folder to which I wrote the Master file it contains LAYER 0
which then contains Control.Dat, DDPID, Image.DAT

Could someone please explain what I am doing wrong?
I have looked through the manual and can not find any explanation of this.
If it matters, I am still using 4.0.
Thank you,
Belker

Sounds like you are trying to create a DLT (tape) master. A burned DVD in your case is the master. You would use a DLT if you were going to be sending things off to a replication facility - in which case you'll need the DLT machine and some additional software to write the information to the tape. You don't burn a DVD with the DLT information.

Thanks.
It was slowly dawning on me that my thinking was wrong.
