AP6 wont detect NI Guitar Rig 2 -ACID Product Family

Subject:AP6 wont detect NI Guitar Rig 2 Posted by: ohmaya Date:7/28/2007 9:13:11 PM I just loaded NI Guitar Rig 2 onto my PC for the first time. When I started up AP6 after installing the new plugin, I saw AP6 load Guitar Rig on the startup splash screen. Problem is, no matter how many times I try, it will NOT show up in the available FX plugins - not in VST, ALL or Third Party folders...no where! I have refreshed and restarted until the cows come home. Nada. I opened FL Studio 7 and Cubase Studio 4 and they both see it and it works fine in both of those DAWs - what gives w/ AP6d????

I'm using 6.0d with the latest version of GR2 and have no problems with it showing up in the vst plugins folder. 1)In pref>>vst plugins tab>>do you see GR2 there? 2)Try refreshing the vst folder...Does it come up now? 3)Is it the cd version or the latest updated one off the NI site? I guess if all else fails try to uninstall/reinstall acid...though I doubt you'll need to do that. Ed.
