Hi there, Dimension Pro has the possibility to drag n drop Midifiles (from Grooves) into the sequenzer - but ACID don´t allowed it ! If i do same with Stylus Rmx all happens and it creates a new track..... Any idea or workaround ? Best Thomas |

It depends on how Dimension Pro exposes the drag. If it places the data in a format that ACID does not understand, then ACID will not permit it. Other plugins - RMX, EZDrummer - work fine, so it is some kind of format incompatability. We will look into it. Have you contacted Cakewalk regarding this issue? Peter |

Hi Peter, here is the answer from René (developer of Dimension Pro): "Dimension Pro creates the file as a standard MIDI file. Any host in which you can drag a MIDI file from Windows Explorer into the host directly will allow direct Drag and Drop. " Please check the problem -> because DimensionPro is my "main-synth" for composing :-( this is annoying..... Thomas |

That is what we do and how other plugins that do work in ACID do it. Can you drag a MIDI file from Windows Explorer into ACID? Don't know what I can tell you beyond this. Peter |

Acid does have problems with some MIDI files. F.inst. the MIDI file Battery 3 generates when slicing a loop. I can import the file fine into energyXT, but Acid claims it's corrupted or an unknown format. Bo |
