Subject:M/S preview oddity/bug

In using the M/S converter Preview function I find that after a few seconds of "preview" the converter stops working and switches back to a discrete M and S. There is no visual indication or stopping of the preview. It just continues playing but I can hear it switch back to the discrete channels.

This is the non-realtime preview limit kicking in. Since we now allow you to preview the unselected portions of the file while the dialog is up (for most effects), we do not bound the end even if the limit is reached mid selection. I'll look more closely at this behavior and see if I can make it a bit more obvious what is going on.

In the meantime, you can disable or adjust the preview limit in Options->Preferences->Previews.

Note that the preview limit only applies to non-DirectX/VST effects (or if you uncheck the "Real-time" checkbox in a DirectX/VST effect).

Right. About 10 seconds into the file.
