Have you guys ever thought about making a project folder for eat song you make. It'll make everything such easier for us, to have all the sound we do you in a song transfered to a folder. i know some of the other software competitor's have something like that like pro tools, and Abelton live. I am just making some suggestions for acid. Thanks!

I do that in Vegas. I make a separate individual folder for each project.

I make project folders for each project. Ask me how! :)

All I do is set the appropriate media saves to "<Project>" under Options > Preferences > Folders. Then when I create and save a new ACID project in a specified folder, any specified media thereafter (like recordings) will also be placed in that folder.

It's magic, I tell you!

I don't even bother with that. I just do the first Save as a Save As, browse to where i want the new folder and create it. Vegas/ACID are very good about remembering that while i'm working on the current project.

Yeah, but if don't do what I suggested, any recordings a user creates will automatically be put into "C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\Sony ACID Pro 6.0 Projects" (for example).

In fact, by default, unless you say so, any user-created media will be put into that folder as well. The folder setting's a set-and-forget type of deal. When set to "<Project>" any user-created media is automatically saved in the same location as the project. (You can, of course, tell ACID to use other folders at your discretion.)
