ok so i recorded some music but it was pounding the input level... so if someone could tell me how to fix that problem i am a beginner at this so yeah thanks

If you fill out your profile we will then know what audio hardware you are using and be able to better help you. Without knowing anything about your hardware, what you are recording, or how you are recording it, all I can suggest is that you start by turning down the input volume. If you are just using you motherboard sound chip, start by going into the windows volume control and turn it down there.
