I submitted a bug report through the web site over a week ago, with instructions on how to reproduce the problem. I haven't received a response yet (other than the automatic one saying that they would respond as soon as possible). The bug report has not been updated to indicate that anyone has looked at it. Does anyone have an idea how long it takes tech support to look at these things? BTW, the bug has to do with the reverse tool in combination with the smoothing tool. When I do smoothing on overlapping sections of a file, then do a reverse on a portion of the file that contains the smoothed parts, the results come out wrong (it sounds like portions of the reversed section have been repeated, producing a stuttering or buzzing sound). I believe a similar problem has been discussed in other threads. I suspect the problem has more to do with the reverse tool than with smoothing, although I haven't tried other combinations of tools. This seems like a pretty serious bug, and I'd think someone from Sony would have at least looked at it by now. BTW, the question reference number is #070708-000001 (for anyone from Sony who wants to look at the report). |

This issue has already been addressed and will be fixed in the next update. J. |
