Subject:Stripping areas between regions.

Say I have a file with a lot of regions in it, but the regions are spaced widely apart. Only the regioned areas are relevant to me. Is there a script that will strip the redundant data from between the regions out of the file, leaving me with a file made up of the regioned areas spaced 2 seconds apart, or similar? You could certainly do this with a script, but you can also just add the regions to the playlist and use Special->Playlist/Cutlist->Convert To New. That's great, thanks! Just tried the cutlist thing and it's fantastic. Shame about not being able to leave a slight gap between regions though... is there a way of automating this? I'm totally new to scripting and have hundreds of files each with hundreds of regions in that this needs doing to. Thanks! |
