Yes, in Vegas there is a pan and the default is centered so it plays on both channels equally.

EDIT: verified an accompaniment track where you can cut the vocal channel and
still get instrumental and background video. Do you have the ability to put the
audio back into Vegas and adjust pan?

No you do not understand....

I have a MPG2 with stereo audio (music left, voice right) ...so its already panned. Yet when I burn it, the DVD only plays panned in Windows Media player....Do I need to set up DVD Architect in a special way to do stereo audio?

There's nothing special you need to do in DVDA to make this work. Really, this sounds like an issue with the DVD player you are using, or the receiver/amplifier that the player is connected too.

heh heh -- just had the same problem. Worked much better when
I plugged the left channel cable back into the switch again :-)
