Hi there-- Forgive me, I couldn't find the answers to these questions in the FAQs. If anyone knows, please let me know. I would like to sell my copy of Acid Pro 6 to another user--I have gotten hooked on Tracktion instead. I bought my copy from an academic retailer, and assume that this version is fully upgradeable, like any other full version. Is this true? Second, I remember reading somewhere that Sony is pretty good about license transfers--does anyone know where I can find out how to do this? Thanks! John |

I think it would be best to contact customer service/support. They will be better with your questions. |

What you have to do is call Sony support and tell them that you have transferred the license and give them the buyers name and information. Then the buyer has to call and Sony will issue them a new license key and invalidate the old one so it can no longer be registered, thus transferring a new license to them. I bought my very first copy of ACID Pro on eBay and this was the procedure I had to follow as the buyer. The only tricky part here is the academic discount. You probably have to sell it to someone who also qualifies for an academic discount for them to get a new license. I would definitely check with Sony on this before you sell it to be sure that your seller qualifies. ~jr |
