Subject:Computer restarts when working with SF9

Hi Everybody!

There is a strange issue with my Sound Forge 9. While doing a long, time-consuming audio edition suddenly I get a black screen, computer hangs and then restarts. I have noticed that most often it happens when I click on mute button on my toolbar. It doesn't happen regularly or often, but anyway in most unexpected moment. My motherboard is MSI P965 and sound card is RME 9632, HDD is Seagate SATA. What can you advise or suggest? Thanks for any comments.

Can't do much in the way of diagnostics long distance, but the first thing I'd try would be to replace the video driver. I don't know if your using the latest, if you are, then I'd roll back to a previous driver that I know worked. If you're not current, then I would update. No guarantee this is the problem, but it certainly is a likely candidate.
