I bought ACID Music Studio 6 the other day and and cannot hear my vocal or instrument input when I record. The tracks will record and playback fine but I can not hear what I am playing when recording. Has anyone had this problem. BTW I have another program used to record albums into my computer and I can hear my guitar as I play and record so I don't think it is the computer. There is something in the software that is keeping me from monitoring recorded material. Thanks |

Are you making sure under OPTIONS>AUDIO SETTINGS, that your Line In's and Out's are selected to those of your soundcard? That is the only way you'll be able to monitor, and when you arm the track to record, what you hear (I use headphones to monitor) should reflect with the meter to check levels, etc. Sounds like you don't have your connections set up properly to allow you to monitor. What are you using for a Soundcard? It might even be something where you have to go into the windows mixer to fix. By selecting the "What You Hear" option? Before you record.
