I've asked this before, and maybe its been answered, but it is really, really, REALLY annoying when doing a series of small edits or mixes that the previously used parameters are not remembered for the next use. These dialogue boxes keep returning to some "default" instead. Will this be changed on an update? If not - can someone tell me how to SAFELY reinstall Version 6 so that everything wil work properly (CD Arch, Plug-ins, etc.)? I'm concerned that the 9 install will cause problems with either plugins or with files. I'm pretty tired of working around all of these so called "improvements" that have ruined the best editor around. |

One must now right-click in the open process window and select "Save current"... of coarse this does not work on some like Paste Special and x-fade. According to SCS this will be fixed in a future update. If you have SF-6 and have purchased SF-9, maybe call customer service and ask for a "downgrade" to SF-8 since you are unhappy with v9. Interesting thought....I may try the downgrade idea. Of course, that doesn't diminish the thought that one should have to select anything to "save current" when working quickly in files. |

Tried it for fun. Of course, there is no way to "downgrade" to V 8. I'm just hoping that Sony comes out with an update soon that brings back the legacy features that made SF such a wonderful program before. |
