Subject:This annoying parameter problem Posted by: KPoling Date:6/16/2007 9:52:22 PM I've asked this before, and maybe its been answered, but it is really, really, REALLY annoying when doing a series of small edits or mixes that the previously used parameters are not remembered for the next use. These dialogue boxes keep returning to some "default" instead. Will this be changed on an update? If not - can someone tell me how to SAFELY reinstall Version 6 so that everything wil work properly (CD Arch, Plug-ins, etc.)? I'm concerned that the 9 install will cause problems with either plugins or with files. I'm pretty tired of working around all of these so called "improvements" that have ruined the best editor around.

According to SCS this will be fixed in a future update. If you have SF-6 and have purchased SF-9, maybe call customer service and ask for a "downgrade" to SF-8 since you are unhappy with v9.
