Subject:Volume on new rendered track

I'm taking a MIDI channel and rendering to a new track using the very handy Ctrl-M shortcut.

But the new rendered track is a lot lower in volume than the original. I can't discover which is the vital parameter to adjust. Pointers please ?

Check the Midi bus volume level.
Then check the track volume level.
Sometimes when I render a midi track to a wave file, the track volumes is lower than the original.
Don't know what sets the volume but it changes from time to time.
Also if that doesn't work try looking to see if assigned to same volume bus as the original.
