I'd like to know what the return policy is on software?

Not sure what the general policy was/is, but SCS was offering a 30 day refund for software at the NAB last April...

I bought Vegas7+DVD(A4), upgraded to SF9(with CD5.2) from SF8...and also bought Cinescore...And I'm not returning ANY of it, so I don't know how they would handle it...

I suspect a real phone call is in order...

I would guess it depends on what reason you are returning it for.


If you didn't read the product description and bought the wrong sort of product, I wouldn't expect them to refund (exchange for another product maybe ...).

If there is a problem that is attributable to your PC/Windows install, then I'm sure they would work with you to fix it., as far as practicl/reasonable.

If there is some real and significant thing that should work some way and doesn't , then it should be straighforward.

There is probably something in the terms and conditions in the software registratgion, or on this website.
