Subject:Piano Roll and List Editor missing

I've read several past posts that describe the missing PR and LE within the Clip Properties window. I've tried all of the suggestions, including re-installing Acid Pro 6.0D (build 363), and still the PR and LE will not give me any tabs, views, or transport buttons. Even when I've started from scratch with a new file, new MIDI clip, and hand drawn notes, nothing shows up. I downloaded a AP6 current demo version onto another computer, opened the same MIDI file and the MIDI Clip Properties window works fine with both the Piano Roll and the List Editor tabs.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why the Clip Properties is not showing the Piano Roll or List Editor within the Clip Properties windows? Maybe I need to change some settings?
I'm running Win XP Pro SP2, on a Pentium D 2.8Ghz with 1GB ram.

I don't know what fixed it, but this is what I ended up doing.

I loaded AP6 on another computer, checked to see if the Clip Properties, Piano Roll and List Editor worked, and then copied the entire ACID PRO 6 directory, under Program Files/Sony onto my dedicated audio computer. Wha-la! It's working fine now.

I did make a backup of the original directory and compared the old with the newly copied directory. There were alot more files in the newly copied directory. It appears that there could have been some application support files missing in the old directory. It's strange that I used the same Acid Pro DVD to install, and then upgrade to 6.0d using the same download, on both machines. As monolithboy put it, "Really strange little problem you've got there!"

Hopefully Sony will still respond to my request for service in hopes that they can give some explanation of what occurred.

Needless to say, it looks like I might become an Acid freak after all.

I did find out that there is a sub-folder in the Program Files/Sony/ACID Pro 6.0/ folder called MIDI Editors. Within this folder are two files, acid60editlist.dll and acid60pianoroll.dll that were missing in the first computer.

That must have caused the problem. Unfortunately, Sony has not responded yet, and there seems to be no apparent reason why the MIDI Editors folder was empty.

So I'm proceeding as if this fixed the problem. With some luck, I'll be putting Sonar to sleep for a while to focus on making Acid my major DAW. I do like Acid's simpler interface. After all, I do use Sound Forge and other Sony applications. I'm going to see if I can be happy with Acid Pro 6 now that the MIDI has been greatly enhanced.
